Birthday Parties and Gift Ideas!

I am now offering 2 new services!
Gift certificates to my boutique make the perfect gift! They come in any denomination and each certificate will be handmade and personalized by me catering to the celebration of what they are being given for. My neice is going to be my first recipient and is going to get to design her own outfit! Every $50 certificate gets 10% off! No expiration date!

Also, I am now doing birthday parties! I can do a bow party, you pick the colors, and each girlie gets to help me make their own bow! $6 per girl! No limit on how big or how much they can do! Or you can have a flip flop party, each girl gets to design their own ribbon flip flops, just $8 each girl - better yet you can do both for $12 each girl and the birthday girl gets her own set free (minimum 8 paid girls, birthday girl will get free item regardless of which item you choose). Pics of my first party will be posted soon along with my custom gift certificates! This is a fun a new way to do birthay parties - my daughter is excited to have this featured at her party and after 1 day of "spreading the word" I have 2 parties booked!

Afford-a-bows are up on Etsy!

I have decided to put all of my boutique items on Etsy, and give you some samples here. Why? Mainly because it is easier for my buyers (setting up an Etsy account is free and SUPER easy) to purchase through paypal and easier for me to take payments from those that are not local. If you are local, send me a message and we can meet somewhere. All of my gently used boutique clothing though will only be on this blog - message me if you need a price on shipping something. With all of that said, I am going to work on my caliboration with Afford-a-bows (I know I said I was going to do the used boutique items first, but hey, I think I have crafting ADD, lol). Our first collection going up is the rockabilly/retro/punk/vintage style bows. We have bows on bands, bowtie style bows, boutique style stacked bows, pinwheel bows, korkers and clippies. My first post!

I have decided to start things off slow and not only offer all of my store items but used boutique items as well (hey, its better than Ebay right? lol). With that, my first post and first item for sell is going to be a used, good condition retro Hula Mula short set in a sz 5t. I paid over$55 for this set new and it was worn 3x - the first time to a ballgame banquet, the 2nd to a cookout and the 3rd for pics only! Unfortunately it did get some "wear" as she decided to slide down a skateboard ramp on her bottom and some of the polka dots were worn off (barely noticeable). This is probably one of my top 5 favorite sets from them (they are my fav designer) and yes, I already have one in a bigger size lol. Price is $15 obo.
